coolest. song. ever.

this song kicks ass.

also, if someone could make me a little graphic that says "Nate Dawg's kick-ass seal of approval", that'd be great

Sublime - Date Rape

Let me tell you about a girl I know,
had a drink about an hour ago
sittin in a corner by herself,
in a bar in downtown hell.

She heard a noise and she looked to the door
and saw a man she never seen before.
Light skin, light blue eyes,
a double chin and a plastic smile.
Well, her heart raced as he walked in the door
and took an empty seat next to her at the bar.
My brand new car is parked right outside,
How'd you like to go for a ride?

And she said, "Wait a minute, I have to think"
He said, " that's fine, may I please buy you a drink."
One drink turned into three or four,
and they left and got into his car..
and they drove away, some place real far.

"Now, babe, the time has come..
How'd you like to have a little fun?"
And she said, " If we could only please be on our way,
I would not mind"

That's when things got out of control.

She didnt want to, he had his way,
she said "Let's go", He said "No way"
"Come on babe, it's your lucky day,
Shut your mouth, we're gonna do it my way.
Come on baby dont be afraid,
if it wasn't for date rape, I'd never get laid."

He finished up, he started the car,
he turned around and drove back to the bar.
He said, " Now baby, don't be sad,
In my opinion, you weren't half bad"

She picked up a rock, threw it at the car,
hit him in the head, now he's got a big scar.
Come on, party people, won't you listen to me
Date rape stylie.

Next day, she went to her drawer,
looked up her local attorney-at-law
went to the phone and filed a police report,
then she took the guys ass to court.

Well, that day he stood in front of the judge,
he screamed "She lies, that little slut!"
The judge knew that he was full of shit
and he gave him twenty-five years.
Now his heart is filled with tears...
One night, in jail it was getting late,
he was butt-raped by a large inmate
and he screamed, but the guards paid no attention
to his cries.

That's when things got out of control.

The moral of the date rape story,
it does not pay to be drunk and horny..
But that's the way it had to be,
they locked him up and threw away the key.
Well, I can't take pity on men of his kind
even though he now takes it in the behind

But that's the way it had to be
they locked him up and threw away the key..
Well, I can't take pity on men of his kind,
even though he now takes it in the behind.

Date rape!

She didn't want to
She didn't want to
She didn't want to
She didn't want to take it.

the mighty toe of the east will attack at dawn....

ok, it's been a week since i've updated but yeah. stuff has happened, stuff hasn't happened, suspicion arisen and de-arisen (haha, i made a new word, and yes, i realise that subsided would have fit better, but de-arisen is cool and i will start using it often now because i can and it's my word for me to use because i just made it up because you all suck)

anyway, i forgot what i was going to type. something about someone or something sucking.

oh yeah! i've decide to have a contest here on my humble blog. the contest is which none of you can enter, but all of you can participate in. post your favorite/least favorite bands as a comment, and i will tell you which one is worst. the winner will move on. the method i will be using of the choosing of the sucky will be Google. i will search for '*insert band here* sucks'

here's an example: Backstreet Boys vs. Nsync.

BSB: 267,000
Nsync: 141,000

Nsync wins! sorry Rachel, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. i bet you don't like cookies now, huh?

so, post some bands that you want to see either get the shit beat out of them or beat the shit out of other bands.

Attention all fire fighters... part 2

we turn right at the Armory. when we got near the trailer park, i heard someone say that there were fire trucks still turning at the armory. that's how many trucks came. we had Wilmington, Bethel-Tate, Hillsborough, Midland, Martinsville, Clarksville, Port Williams (on the other side of Wilmington, i never knew it existed until a few years ago.) Fayetville, and i think that's it. when we were out on Second Creek road, i looked towards the highschool and saw the marching band, and wondered if they saw us. (a few did.)

we got to our destination. Second Creek Cemetary. 20 MPH the whole way. the cars pull in, the fire trucks line up along side the road. Engine 88 is sitting there to the entrance. all the fire fighters stand in two rows on both sides as the casket is prepared to be brought down. as it is, all of the fire fighters stand at attention and salute as the casket passes, just like at the funeral home. the family and friends fall in behind the casket, and the fire fighters behind them. the casket is set on the frame above the grave, Charlie's fire gear is set infront of it. everyone is standing around the grave, fire fighters together on one side, everyone else on the other. in the middle are Don Allen (brother in law, i do believe...) and Fire Chief Don Walker. final words are said, and the chief calls Wilmington dispatch on the radio.

"2801 to Wilmington dispatch."

"go ahead"

"Set off the final call for 2803."

Charlie's fire pager is set on his gear, and a few seconds later, everyone who had a fire pager, radio or a scanner with them in the county heard this.

"Attention all fire fighters, attention all fire fighters. this is 2803's last call."

about the time the second 'attention' was said, all of us fire fighters couldn't handle anymore, and we all cryed.

no funeral comes close to a fire fighters funeral.

"Attention all fire fighters, attention all fire fighters..."

today was Charlie's funeral. he died at the age of 64, the cause was reoccuring bone cancer. he died Spetember 1st.

i'll start at the funeral home at 10 am. we're sitting, listening to the final eulogies. poems are read, tears are flowing. the Chief asks all fire fighters in the room to stand. 3/4ths of the people in the room stand up, and our heads are down. the chiefs reads a poem about a little boy finding his dad's fire gear, and he asks his mom what it is. she tells him about the sacrifices, the lonely nights and the times she didn't think her husband would come home. all of us are sobbing, tissues are being handed out.

after the euologies are done, we prepare to give our final respects to him. as each fire fighter passes the casket, we salute Charlie.

we stand outside, behind Engine 88. there's a crowd gathering on the corner of Gold Star and the antique mall.

as the casket is brought out, the fire fighters salute again, and the sasket is set in the bed of 88

everyone gets in their vehicles, and the chief calls Clinton County dispatch on the radio, and the town fire siren is turned on. 88 pulls forward, a long line of cars and fire trucks bringing up the rear. we turn right onto broadway, and Wilmington and Bethel-Tate's ladder trucks are waiting for us past the railroad tracks, with their ladders raised and the American flag flying at the top, creating an archway. the Wilmington/Bethel fire fighters saluted us as we passed. we turn left on Fancy street, and go to the new fire house, which was the turnaround point. on the right turn onto broadway, there was a woman standing on the corner with her hand over her heart. the Wilmington and Bethel-Tate fire fighters are still saluting. as we pass through the middle of town, traffic is stopped, and people are standing, watching us. like a parade. a silent, sober parade. no candy, only tears.

i'll finish this later... i can't continue.

yeah.... sadness

so, i've finally decided to update. not that anyone cares or anything, but i'm bored, and there's pretty much nothing else to do.

saturday, went to Shelby's for a 'movie' night. we talked most of the time and watched stuff from Ebaum's World. wtf = Princess

yesterday. went to the fire meeting. got home and finally persuaded dad to splice 2 ethernet cords and drill a hole in the ceilng so we can get the ethernet cable upstairs for Xbox Live. victory is ours.

today, Megan called me. i was all like wtf. she want me to come hang out with Rachel and Adam (i think she said someone else's name, but i was still in the wtf when she was listing names). obviously i didn't, because i'm here updating. i wanted to go, but i couldn't.

one of our fire fighters died late last week. Charlie Allen. his bone cancer came back. his visitation is tonight, and his funeral is tomorrow morning, so i won't be at school. i spent a few hours at the fire house helping get ready for tonight/tomorrow.

*sigh*

dumbfuck south.

every few months, a storm arrises, and us humans call it a hurricane. these large, sometimes deadly storms strike 2 main areas: the Gulf of Mexico, and the southern half of the Atlantic coast. these storm wreak havoc on everyone who happens to be in it's path. let's focus on the Gulf of Mexico in this post.

bordering the GOM are three states this country could really live without. Alabama, Luisiana, and Missouri. keep in mind that these aren't the only three. anyway, there happens to be a city in one of these states called New Orleans. the geography of N.O. is rather odd. it sits below sea level, surrounded by bodies of water. whenever it rains a good bit, you can guess what happens. the city floods, people lose their homes for a while. they get on the news and such and let the rest of the world know that they live there and that they aren't moving.

idiots.

how retarded do you have to be to live in a city that resembles a bowl? here's a cool science trick, kids. fill your kitchen sink up with water. now, get a regular cereal bowl and set it in the water. the bottom of the bowl is nice and dry, right? well, push down on the edges so the bowl submerges evenly. now, picture New Orleans as the bottom of that bowl. do you want to live there? fuck no. why do you not want to live there? because you have common sense. in the event you do want to live there, then please, by all means, go live there. the world doesn't need you anyway. just don't be crying on the news when your cereal bowl of a city fills up with the milk of life. you better know how to swim, because there's no Mikey to scoop you out.

the lesson here, folks: only idiots live in New Orleans.

she's my girl from Ipanema

Sunday was awesome (except one thing, but i'll get to that)

saturday night, i went to Kelsey's b-day party. it was a lot of fun, even though we didn't do much (except me putting on some of Kelsey's clothes, lol)

sunday, went to KI. the first ride we were going to get on was Delerium, but it broke down when we were waiting in line, so we said screw it and went to ride Face Off. after that, we went on Top Gun (still holds the record for 3rd best ride in the park in my book). after TG, we went to the Son if Beast. i'm suprised i don't have bruises... it's a really tight fit for me and Erik, because our legs are so long then we went to Flight of Fear (2nd best, even though it has the same problem as Sonf of Beast...leg room = 0), then we went to the italian job stunt track, but it was closed, so we went to Vortex (#1, bitches!) we had to wait a little extra because someone (or someones...) puked, so they were washing out the train and drying it out.

this is where the totally uncoolness arrives.

after getting off Vortex, my parents get the ultra uber(non)awesome idea of getting in line for Whitewater Canyon or whatever the hell it is. oh joy, a water ride. if you know me, you know that i don't like getting drenched. i like walking in the rain, but water rides = no. after standing in line for over an hour, we finally get on. i'm the first to get soaked, and everyone is laughing and having a grand ol' time.

except me, of course.

after the ride is over, i'm drenched head to toe, my shoes/socks water-logged, and my dad barely got any water on him.

Karma is such a cruel mistress...

...but she does have her good side, which came later.

the jazz concert. fucking wow. i loved it. fucking amazing. the singer was amazing (she'd be hot if she wasn't pregnant, though. but her voice is phenomanal.

that's all i can say about it. fucking wow. my mom bought me one of the CD's (...From the Top) and my mom took it to the singer and she autographed it for me! this is what it says:

"Nathan, hope you ejoyed tonight, keep playing. God bless, Pam.*insert smilie face here*"

no, seriously. there's a smilie face there. don't believe me? i'll have to show you sometime.

now, i leave you with lyrics from one of the best songs in the world.

The Girl From Ipanema.

Tall and tan and young and lovely
The girl from ipanema goes walking
And when she passes, each one she passes goes "ahh"

When she walks, she’s like a samba
That swings so cool and sways so gentle
That when she passes, each one she passes goes "ahh"

(ooh) but I watch her so sadly
How can I tell her I love her
Yes I would give my heart gladly
But each day, when she walks to the sea
She looks straight ahead, not at me

Tall, (and) tan, (and) young, (and) lovely
The girl from ipanema goes walking
And when she passes, I smile - but she doesn’t see
she just doesn’t see, no, she never sees me,...
